Tim Luzadre - Head Hockey Coach

Tim Luzadre grew up in the Detroit metro area playing the highest level of Hockey throughout Michigan and Canada from the age of six, his last team being the Detroit Junior Red Wings. Business brought him out to the New York area where he kept his passion for the game. Since the first day of operation of The Buckskill Winter Club, Tim has taught numerous children and adults how to safely learn to skate and play hockey. Tim is available for private skating and hockey lessons. He will also be running the junior and adult hockey clinics as well as the lunch hockey.



Ryan Koresky - Hockey Coach

Playing Ice Hockey since the age of 6 years old Ryan Koresky was a member of the Toronto Young Nationals GTHL minor hockey from the mid to late 90's. He played Juniors in the CJHL Tier 2 Junior A for the Cornwall Colts from 1999-2002. While on the team they won league championships. Following his years in Juniors, Ryan was a four year starter for the Oswego State Lakers. In Ryan's senior year they won the NCAA Division III National Championship. Ryan will be helping us this year with our Junior Hockey Program.



Jessie Kellis - Figure Skating Director

Originally from Garden City, NY, began skating with her father and siblings at the age of six. What began as weekend recreation for the family quickly turned into a daily ritual. After advancing through the Basic Skills program at Cantiague Park in Hicksville, Jessie began private instruction and patch sessions which emphasize footwork by drawing figures on the ice. Supported by her father's love of the sport, she quickly advanced to the Freestyle level and skated at arenas all over Long Island. A member of the US Figure Skating Association and certified Basic Skills Instructor, Jessie brings to Buckskill Winter Club her passion and love of skating as well as her dedication to the program. She hopes to share her appreciation of skating by focusing on the health and social benefits of the sport while ensuring skaters are properly placed within the program and are advanced through as they master the Basic Skills!



Ashley Pulito - Figure Skating Instructor

Ashley is originally from Smithtown, NY where she started skating at the age of eight. Her love passion and dedication for the sport is shown in her achievement of securing a USFSA Double Gold Medalist certification. Ashley is a member of the Professional Skaters Association and is a certified USFSA Basic Skills Instructor. She grew up competitively figure skating and now attends the University of Delaware. She will graduate this May with a degree in Marketing and plans on attending Law School in the fall of 2011. Ashley will be teaching both Basic Skills Clinics and private lessons this season.



Danielle Candela - Figure Skating Instructor

Danielle was a Senior level competitor who competed nationally and internationally. She trained in both New York, and at University of Delaware with World and Olympic figure skating coaches and skaters. Her nine years of competitive experience has helped teach students of all ages. Danielle is USFSA certified coach. Now she teaches in Long Island City and at Buckskill Winter Club where she enjoys teaching others the benefit of skating, and shares her love for the sport by seeing the success and joy from her students. Danielle will be teaching both Basic Skills Clinics and private lessons this season.



Emma Dahl - Figure Skating Assistant Instructor

Emma Dahl has been the Assistant Coach at Buckskill for the last three seasons. As a very young skater she trained at the University of Delaware with some of the best skaters and coaches in the world. Ron Ludington, Barbara Roles and Joel McKeever for free style and Gary Irving and Sasha Kirsanov for moves and ice dance. At the age of 8 she became a Juvenile competitor, passed Intermediate moves and her first pre-silver ice dance, one of the youngest skaters to achieve these rankings. Emma lives in East Hampton and is a student at East Hampton High School. She brings her passion for the sport and considerable skill to share with skaters at every level. She is considering a return to competitive skating in finances allow.



Jaime Ruiz - Speed Skating Instructor

Originally from Santiago, Chile began to practice "in-line speed skating" and speed skating on ice in the mid of the 1980's. In 1984 he classified in 8th place in the Pan-American Games. He participated in different Chilean teams including the team at Diego Portales University in Santiago, Chile. Jaime is a member of US Speed Skating and since 2008 he has practiced with the Flushing Meadow Speed Skating Club team. In 2007, he started to teach speed skating at Buckskill Winter Club and he is available for private and group lessons for kids and adults.

JUNIOR HOCKEY CAMP!

Buckskill is now offering a Jockey Hockey Camp during the February Winter Break! The camp is for kids of all ages and abilities and will run from Monday February 20th to Friday February 24th, from 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Price includes lunch and admission to the public skating session that day. A flexible schedule means you can come for just one day or all five. NEW MEN'S HOCKEY LEAGUE!

Buckskill Winter Club is starting a new men's hockey league. The first game will be on Saturday December 31st. The league will run for at least 10 weeks and is scheduled to end on March 3rd 2012. Games will be every Saturday from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. (the ice is harder first thing in the morning!!). If there is enough interest we will add Sunday morning as well. This is a "no cantact" league and offsides and icings will be called. The cost is $350 for 10 games. More information here:Adult Hockey.

HTC Goes Post-Tension

Hamptons Tennis is proud to announce that 6 HTC employees are now certified field installers for unbonded post-tension concrete. We completed our first post-tension tennis court this summer and will now be offering this specialized court.
